Ecco il secondo post che vi propongo per la nuova sezione DESTINATIONS…
Oggi siamo a Milano,nel cuore del distretto della moda, del design e della creatività made in Milan.
Superata la porta a vetri siamo avvolti da tappezzeria a righe black&white su cui spicca un elegante bancone bianco sormontato da marmo lucido.
Decina di tavoli, di diverse forme, parecchi pezzi di design italiano vintage che richiama atmosfere Anni Cinquanta, Osvaldo Borsani, Gio Ponti, Eero Saariner, Fornasetti, una chicca di Cattelan, sono solo alcuni nomi dell’arredamento del bistrot.
Nel menu, l’attenzione alla qualità tutta italiana si ritrova in piatti della tradizione come le Pennette con salsa di pomodorino ciliegino di Sicilia e basilico o i Trancetti di baccalà con crostoni di polente al timo.
Ad arricchire la carta uno sguardo alla cucina internazionale con i Bocconcini di pollo al curry con riso venere dal sapore indiano e la Spadella di piquillo de Lodosa con olive nere, pollo e scaglie di parmigiano per chi preferisca le specialità iberiche.
Per l’aperitivo potrete degustare piccoli assaggi scandito da un caldo
sottofondo musicale soft Jazz.
Io ci sono stata per pranzo tra uno show-room e l’altro , e sotto il consiglio del personale ho voluto assaggiare il loro rinomato Club Sandwich della casa. Diviso in quattro parti, un morbido panino tostato farcito con pomodoro, uova, zucchine e pollo. Deliziosamente accompagnato da patate al forno.

Today we are in Milan, in the heart of the district of fashion, design and creativity made in Milan.
Les Gitanes Bistrot
After the glass door we are enveloped in black & white striped wallpaper which features an elegant breakfast bar topped with white marble polished.
Dozen tables of different shapes, several pieces of design that recalls vintage Italian atmosphere Fifties, Osvaldo Borsani, Gio Ponti, Eero Saariner, Fornasetti, a gem of Cattelan, are just some of the bistro furnishings.
In the menu, the attention to quality is found in all Italian dishes such as Pasta with sauce, cherry tomato and basil or Sicilian Slices of cod with polenta croutons and thyme.
To enrich the paper a look to international cuisine with morsels of chicken curry with black rice from Indian flavor and Spatula of piquillo de Lodosa with black olives, chicken and parmesan cheese for those who prefer the Iberian specialties.
For an appetizer you can taste small samples marked by a warm
soft background music Jazz.
I have been there for lunch from one showroom to another, and under the guidance of the staff I wanted to taste their famous Club Sandwich of the house. Divided into four parts, a soft toasted bun stuffed with tomatoes, eggs, zucchini and chicken. Delightfully accompanied by a baked potato.
