Sotto le note della particolare canzone matrimoniale cantata dalle donne arabe Zaghrouta ed una location mozzafiato dell’hotel Westin Excelsior Rome le modelle hanno sfilata con passo morbido e lento.
La capsule collection è intitolata Shukran, che in arabo vuol dire grazie.
Attraverso questa collezione Giada Curti omaggia gli Emirati Arabi, in particolare Dubai, che l’ha accolta e le sta offrendo grandi opportunità di espansione. Apre la sfilata, compare l’abito da sposa: una casacca minimal-chic ricoperta di cristalli, al posto del classico bouquet una Gbag di lana e cristalli, al posto del velo il turbante. Proponendo look dinamici e silhouette strutturate, la collezione gioca su tre colori: il bianco, il rosa e l’acciaio, ognuno dei quali porta con se una traccia di Dubai. Le tonalità delicate del rosa del deserto; il bianco candido del Kandura; l’acciaio dei grattaceli avveniristici come il Burj Khalifa, Burj al-Arab o l’Emirates Tower.
Raffinati accessori donano alla collezione Shukran un tocco di grazia: alti bracciali di metallo; le borse Gbag in lana e cristalli; il Turbante, accessorio centrale in questo racconto, costruito in seta e ricamato di pietre, perle, paillettes, metallo.
I 10 modelli di questa capsule collection Shukran anticipano la partecipazione di Giada Curti Haute Couture alla Dubai Fashion Week 2014 in autunno, dove sarà presentata l’intera collezione, anche in vista dell’imminente apertura dell’Atelier Giada Curti di Dubai.
